Why is Lakadong turmeric called “the world’s highest-curcumin turmeric,” and how does that benefit finished products?

Lakadong rhizomes grow in the cool, misty hills of Meghalaya. Lab tests show they hold 7–9 % curcumin, while ordinary market turmeric sits around 2–3 %. That means you get the same bright colour and wellness punch with roughly one-third of the powder. The flavour is warm and a little earthy, not bitter. Farmers dry the roots gently below 50 °C, so the natural turmeric oils stay intact and the colour stays bright for many months. If a recipe calls for 3 g regular turmeric, 1 g Lakadong will usually do the job.

How do I take Lakadong Turmeric for everyday wellness?
